The Town will be participating in National Earth Day Events. In coordination with our Recycling Program, The Town will be collecting E-Waste Materials and have an on-site document shredding company for residents and guest of the island. Shredding will take place at Town Hall from 10:00am to 12:00pm (there is no charge for this service). E-Waste will be collected from 10:00am to 2:00pm.
The following items will be accepted:
Desktop computers, keyboards and mice
Laptop computers
Mainframe computer systems
Cathode Ray Tubes (CRT's) and monitors
Modems and telephone boards
Hard drives, floppy drives and CD ROMs
Phones, fax machines, and communications hardware
Printers
Computer boards, CPUs and memory chips, circuit boards
Connecting wires and cables
TVs are not accepted.
