February 20, 2008 Lunar Eclipse

This was the last complete lunar eclipse until December 2010. Totality arrived at 10:26 p.m. when the Earth shadowed the entire moon. Because of Earth's atmosphere, the color of the Earth's shadow on the moon was blood red.
