2003 Kiawah Island Marathon

The 26th annual running of the Kiawah Island Marathon was s terrific success!  The weather cooperated for the most part, although it was fairly windy at times.  A total of 2923 walkers and runners participated.  1,698 did the half marathon, 951 finished the marathon, and 274 did the 5K.

It was such a popular event that Santa Claus attended! J And there was a marriage proposal to boot!
