Book highlights spot as a dream locale

KIAWAH ISLAND Kiawah Island is included in a book of 100 dream vacation spots released today by LIFE books. The book, "Dream Destinations: 100 of the World's Best Vacations," is billed as listing "100 real-life examples of heaven on earth found" and includes photos of destinations in South Carolina; Montezuma, Costa Rica; Giverny, France; and the Sun Kosi River in Tibet. LIFE calls Kiawah Island, which is about 25 miles southwest of Charleston, "a walker's or cyclist's or canoeist's dream" and highlights the area's tennis and golf opportunities.
