Kiawah Island made LIFE magazine's top-10 list of winter island getaways for 2006.
"Fairways and Greens" helped push Kiawah into this year's list, featured in Friday's edition.
"Three reasons to come to Kiawah: golf, the chance to rest in royal comfort after golf, then more golf," the magazine said.
Kiawah was the only S.C. destination included. It ranked alongside places such as Mackinac Island, Mich.; Galveston, Texas; and Vieques, Puerto Rico.
